Teaching Vietnamese for Foreigners in Danang
Since March 2011, ACADEMY English Center has officially launched the “Teaching Vietnamese for foreigners in Danang City” program.
- Vietnamese for everyday communication of different levels (VEC level 1 -> VEC level 6)
- Vietnamese for Specific Purposes (VSP)
2. Textbook: (Books, CD and VCD)
• "Giáo trình tiếng Việt cho người nước ngoài” Tập 1 & 2 (Vietnamese for Foreigners - Vol. 1&2), HCMC National University Publishing House.
• "Giáo trình tiếng Việt cho người nước ngoài” - Tập 1 & 2 (Vietnamese for Foreigners – Vol. 1&2), Hanoi National University Publishing House - Institute of Vietnamese Studies and Development Science.
3. Lesson plans: Electronic lessons are provided for learners.
4. Duration: 12 weeks per course with 3 classes/week.
5. Schedule: According to learners’ availability.
6. Location: At Academy English Center or Learner’s home or office.
7. Lecturers: Qualified, experienced and well-known lecturers in the field of Vietnamese teaching .

9. ACADEMY’s responsibilities:
• Design study plans and syllabus for learners basing on the learners’ specific needs of using Vietnamese .
• Strict quality control during the whole courses with progress tests, mid-term and end-course tests.
• Open discussion with learners for optimum choice of materials and teaching methods.
• Provide opportunities for learners to make friends and take part in extra-curricular activities with Vietnamese students learning English or other languages; and the local people.
